(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 22, 2008) In a week 16 League of Champions classic, Sky's The Limit squeaked by a tough Pale Force team by a score of 143.3 to 132.5, extending the losing streak for Pale Force to 4 games.

Sky's The Limit were led to their 10.8 point victory by a 22.0 point effort from Ben Roethlisberger, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 331 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 14 rushing yards. They also got help from a 21.8 point effort from Hines Ward, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 109 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"This was a confidence booster," Sky's The Limit coach Brian Prescott said.

Pale Force were helped out in a losing cause by a 25.6 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Detroit Lions defense for 351 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 21.9 point effort from Antonio Bryant, who beat the San Diego Chargers defense for 127 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"I tip my hat to them," Pale Force coach Jim Gaffigan said.

Adding salt to the wound, Pale Force could have scored 143.5 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jim Gaffigan left key players like Kevin Smith and his corresponding 17.1 points on the bench.

Pale Force drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16.

This brings the record for Sky's The Limit to 10-3, and drops Pale Force to a record of 11-2.

Follow Me were led to their 16.7 point victory by a 32.7 point effort from Tyler Thigpen, who beat the Miami Dolphins defense for 320 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 57 rushing yards. With this performance, Thigpen was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 27.6 point effort from Brandon Jacobs, who got by the Carolina Panthers defense for 87 rushing yards and 3 rushing TDs in addition to 5 receiving yards.

"We made a statement here today," Follow Me coach Mark Moyer said.

Devil's Rejects were helped out in a losing cause by a 31.2 point effort from Matt Cassel, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 345 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 19 rushing yards. With this performance, Cassel was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 21.7 point effort from Reggie Wayne, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 108 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"We didn't maintain the intensity for the entire 60 minutes," Devil's Rejects coach Mark Edgar said.

Compounding the issue, Devil's Rejects could have scored 146.2 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mark Edgar left key players like Visanthe Shiancoe and his corresponding 32.6 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Follow Me to 10-3, and drops Devil's Rejects to a record of 9-4.
