| 1. | How do I Add a Sound to my League?
Answer: As commissioner you can go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Images & Other URLs. Here you can Upload a League Sound Clip file (this file must be a valid .wav or .mp3 file and under 200kB in size).
Alternately, you can enter the URL address of your sound clip.
Owners may add a sound to their Franchise Information Page by going to the For Owners > Franchise Setup - Customize.

| 2. | Why can't I hear the sound clip I've specified for my franchise/league sound clip?
Answer: There could be several reasons why. Please check all of the following things.
Can you hear other sounds on your computer? If not, please check your computer owner's manual to be sure that your speakers are properly attached to your computer and configured.
Can you hear sounds on other web pages? If not, there is a good chance that your web browser is not configured to hear sound clips properly. You should check your web browser's documentation for instructions on how to set it up so you can hear .WAV or .MP3 files.
Is the web address (URL) specified for your league/franchise sound clip correct? URLs must be entered EXACTLY correctly in order to play the sound you've specified. The best way to test this is to go to your franchise setup page or your appearance page, highlight your sound clip URL with your mouse, use the Copy option off your Edit menu to copy the URL, then paste it into your browser's Location type-in box, to try to go directly to that URL. Your web browser should start playing the specified sound clip. If you hear or see ANYTHING else other than the sound clip you've specified, then you've entered an incorrect URL.
You've specified a file type other than .WAV or .MP3 - .WAV and .MP3 files are the ONLY kind of sound clips you can embed into league web pages.
If you've checked all of the above things, and all looks OK, you should contact your PC's support line to have them help you with your problem. Due to the complex nature of audio problems we cannot offer further support for audio problems.

Answer: Owners may add a sound to their Franchise Information Page by going to the For Owners > Franchise Setup - Customize and entering either a URL for a sound clip or uploading a sound clip in the Franchise Sound Clip option.

Answer: If you wish to have your leagues sound clips turned off go to the For Owners > Franchise Setup - Customize and choose the option to not: Play audio clips on league pages?

| 5. | I hear an "uh-oh" sound every time I access my home page. How do I turn this off?
Answer: This sound is due to your League Chat Module notifying you that you of a new post. If you go to that module there is a Speaker Icon next to the "Post" button. Click this to mute the sound of this module.

| 6. | I've got an audio clip that's greater than 300kb - how can I use it?
Answer: If your sound clip is greater than 300kb then you have a few options.
1. Reduce the quality of your sound clip. Many audio editing software packages offer this ability - a Google search on decreasing a music file size should help get you started.
2. Reduce the length of your sound clip. A site like Media-Convert offers the ability for you to do this on-line, or, this page offers some downloadable programs to do this on your PC. More help is available from a Google search on cropping a music file.
3. Store your sound clip on a web server or a remote location that offers web space (note that most ISP's that offer free email also offer free web space). If you upload your sound clip here you can then go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Images & Other URLs and define this URL address in your League Sound Clip URL.

| 7. | How do I get a sound for my league/franchise home page?
Answer: To use a sound file from the web as your league or franchise sound, just follow these instructions.
- First, please understand that audio clips tend to be quite large in size, which means they can take some time to download to your computer. This impacts not only your download time, but also the time it takes to access a league page for all site visitors, too.
- Decide which of the following sound files you'd like to use, or find one on your own.
- Place your mouse over the link to that file. If you are running a Windows computer, press the right mouse button. On a Macintosh, press and hold the mouse button.
- Once the menu appears, select the Copy this Link Location option from the menu. If you're running Microsoft Internet Explorer, follow these instructions:
- Once the menu appears, select the Properties option.
- From the Properties window, use your mouse to highlight the address of the image.
- Press and hold the Control key on your keyboard, and press the "C" key. This will copy the image location to your clipboard.
- Press the OK button.
- Return to the franchise or league setup page using your browser's Back button.
- Place your cursor inside the Franchise (or League) Sound Clip URL text entry field.
- From your browser's Edit menu, select the Paste option.
