(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Jan 2, 2011) In a week 17 AcksFFL:Baltic rivalry, Kodiaks squeaked by a tough Extreme Team team by a score of 116.22 to 107.66, extending the winning streak for Kodiaks to 4 games.

Kodiaks were led to their 8.56 point victory by a 21.30 point effort from Brian Westbrook, who got by the Arizona Cardinals defense for 79 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 14 receiving yards. With this performance, Westbrook was the number 4 ranked running back for week 17. They also got help from a 17.20 point effort from the San Diego Chargers Defensive Team.

"We managed to eke out a win," Kodiaks coach Richard Smits said.

Extreme Team were helped out in a losing cause by a 21.70 point effort from the New England Patriots Defensive Team. With this performance, the Patriots was the number 4 ranked defensive team for week 17. They also got help from a 19.96 point effort from Tom Brady, who snuck past the Miami Dolphins defense for 199 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.

"The ball just didn't bounce our way," Extreme Team coach Shane Dolan said.

Extreme Team drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 18 out of 22 other potential opponents in week 17.

This brings the record for Kodiaks to 7-7, and drops Extreme Team to a record of 7-7.
