(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 26, 2011) In a week 16 TURF Football League South intra-divisional battle, Rawchief's Trolls beat a strong SirCAC team by a score of 136 to 110, extending the winning streak for Rawchief's Trolls to 13 games.
Rawchief's Trolls were led to their 26 point victory by a 31 point effort from Tom Brady, who beat the Miami Dolphins defense for 304 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 17 rushing yards. With this performance, Brady was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 16. They also got help from a 22 point effort from Arian Foster, who beat the Indianapolis Colts defense for 158 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 16 receiving yards.
"The important thing is that we won," Rawchief's Trolls coach Robert Webster said.
SirCAC were helped out in a losing cause by a 21 point effort from Matt Ryan, who tore apart the New Orleans Saints defense for 373 passing yards and 1 passing TD. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Julio Jones, who beat the New Orleans Saints defense for 128 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
"We weren't mentally prepared," SirCAC coach Lance Horvath said.
SirCAC drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 8 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16. This brings the record for Rawchief's Trolls to 13-0, and drops SirCAC to a record of 8-5.
